The Faculty of Dentistry is pleased to announce that Dr. Ya Shen has accepted the Oral Biological and Medical Sciences (OBMS) Department Head position, effective March 1. Dr. Shen is the Director of International Relations and Division Chair of Endodontics and has been a valued member of the Faculty since joining as a postdoctoral fellow in 2007.

Our thanks to Dr. Denise Laronde for serving as Acting OBMS Department Head since January 2024 and the Advisory Committee, who did a wonderful job of working together.
