Externships

EXTERNSHIPS ARE NOT CURRENTLY OFFERED.

About the program:

The observational externship allows students to experience our ongoing graduate classes, visit our clinics and build on their current knowledge while expanding their network in dentistry. The externship program is a non-credit program that allows students to be exposed to topics of their interest. The extern may attend lectures and/or seminars with Faculty of Dentistry graduate specialty students, observe in a clinic and/or a hospital setting, and have an opportunity to connect with multiple experts in the dental discipline of their choice. Seminars may include but are not limited to current literature reviews, treatment planning and surgical techniques.

Requirements:

You must be a graduated Dentist or a student in good standing who has completed at least two years of a Dental program.

With your application, please provide a brief personal statement, describing what you hope to accomplish.

You will be asked to show proof of updated COVID-19 Vaccination

Fees:

The  $62.00 CAD per-day fee includes observation in clinic and available lectures.

Externs are responsible for travel, food, and accommodation expenses.

Schedule:

Our programs generally run from 8am through 5pm M-F, between September and April.
